podcast

Slush is a podcast all about trade book publishing. Hosted by a publishing professional and boasting exceptional guests from across the industry, Slush aims to offer its listeners an in-depth look into the work required to create books.

Learn about the reality of working as an editor. Hear from masterful marketers and persuasive publicists. Discover lesser known departments, whose work is often unsung but necessary to the success of each and every book.

Slush is an attempt to offer a free alternative to more traditional (and expensive!) publishing educations. Listeners will gain a great deal of knowledge about an otherwise opaque and confusing industry that they can use to start or further a career working with books.
